The Commissions ~ Woven Ones

Weaving your cherished mementos into a cohesive piece of art bringing your memories to life.

Artwork crafted with heart, inspired by you, and designed to artistically capture the essence of your story and the memorable moments within it.

Your unique painting is handcrafted in layers, like your memory-filled story, with mixed media and oils using archival quality materials. I offer:

  • Symbolic Commissions carry forward the personal meaning of a memory through the elements and symbols woven into the composition to honour the event (ie. engagements, weddings, births, anniversaries, graduations, retirements, and any special life event).

  • Nature Commissions touch on the animals, places, plants and flowers so near and dear to the heart.

  • Tribute Commissions are woven with compassion in honour of those who have passed on so their stories and essence lives on.

Commissioning a personalised artwork is an experience filled with with meaning and discovery - a path upon which I guide you on with warm enthusiasm and clarity. Here’s the steps on this co-creative path we will take together:

  2. Connect together on an initial consultation call so that I can hear your ideas, intention, timeline and desired size of artwork. I will support you on this call to sense into anything you might be unsure about.

  3. Hold your spot by signing an agreement and providing a 40% initial deposit to secure space in my studio calendar.

  4. Creativity commences, the piece takes form as I share process photo updates and insights I receive with you along the way so that you are a part of the creative process. At the halfway point a 30% process payment is due.

  5. At the completion stage of your artwork the final 30% balance is due before your commissioned artwork is delivered to you. Your painting will be signed by the artist, issued an official certificate of sale and authenticity and packaged with care to either be shipped to you or collected in person as discussed prior.

  • "Corry created the most beautiful piece of artwork from my wedding bouquet, I truly cannot recommend her enough. Her talent for taking a simple photo and transforming it into something that genuinely feels alive is incredible. What made the experience even more meaningful was how much Corry involved me in the entire process. She regularly sent progress photos and asked for my input along the way, making me feel like I was part of the creation rather than just waiting for the final product. It meant so much that she cared that the piece reflected exactly what was important to me...to incorporate the meaningful details that mattered most to me...this isn't just artwork, it's a memory brought to life."

  • "Corry included me in the entire process and it was so cool to see this come to life! She captured the colors, movement, and feeling I wanted so beautifully. She included special details that had meaning to me throughout the painting which was such a thoughtful touch. It's such a special way to preserve a moment that goes by so quickly, and I feel lucky to have such a beautiful and personal keepsake."
